| 2. Medical Assistant w/Limited X-Ray Certificate
Full Time
40 Hours Per Week Location: Fishers Landing Accompany patients to exam/procedure room; assist with walking, transfer, dressing if needed.||Prepare patient for exam; vital signs and chief complaint record accurately in patient’s EMR as well as additional screening per provider guidelines.||Update patient’s EMR– verify phone number, medication and allergy information.||Prepare exam room with appropriate instrumentation for specific exam.||Administer injections to patients per orders from providers and document appropriately in EMR.||Communicate instructions to patients/family members/facility when instructed by provider.||Maintain patient flow – keep exam rooms filled at all times.||Clean exam rooms following each patient||Re-stock exam rooms daily.||Arrange for home health/hospice services.||Arrange for written prescriptions to be picked up by patient.||Schedule specialist appointments as needed. |

40 Hours Per Week Location: Salmon Creek Review, Analyze and process necessary credit balance accounts via best practices to produce proper resolution of open negative balance account receivable..||Update Practice Management System of all information to insure prompt processing of necessary refunds.||Coordinate with accounting department for creation and mailing of refund checks.||Once refund checks are mailed, post results and check numbers into practice management system |
